It will be Friday, March 28 through Sunday March 30. Arrive on Thursday the 27th and leave Sunday afternoon, unless you want to stretch it in either direction. Cost will be $200. That will cover Matt and hopefully Fri and Sat lunch and dinner. You do your own travel and accomodations, your own bar tab and breakfast. Those staying at the Florida house, breakfast is included. I need at least 12 committments by year end to procede(read checks in hand). I think 20 would be our max. This will be posted on the Frisky Mermaid web site so there are others who will probably be signing up as well as OFC members. I've gone through the list of interested parties from the other post. Those needing an address of where to send checks email me. If for some reason we don't get enough people by year end the $$$ will be returned. This should be a real good time. I leave it up to all of you and Matt to set the subjects. Have at it!

Mike and Sherry Garbarini are the owners (and OFC members)and have agreed to help coordinate this World Famous Clinic. Send the checks to my attention to: AM&FM (Amelia Music For Musicians) 316B Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, Fla 32034 904-261-5136 Being a business they will always be there. I will be moving and traveling and don't want any checks lost in the mail system, I'm sure you don't either. The clinic will be at the Florida House. They are www.floridahouseinn.com. Check them out and book your rooms early. They do have some rooms that have a common bath and 2 or 3 separate bedrooms for those that want to group up and share the cost. Joe Warwick is the owner and you can ask for him when booking the room. Make sure they know it's for the Matt Smith Clinic. If you want to check out some other options contact me or Mike and Sherry or go to the Amelia Island web site. There is a Hampton Inn downtown and several other B&Bs. You will probably want to be within the downtown area for the music and pubs and staggering distance from the room. I have 6 solid "I'll be there!" so far. Thanks, this will be great and you guys will make it that way. Now you need to shape the content with Matt.

The Website is nice...Also I am going to drive to this: anyone who wants to ride, again, let me know. Whats the best way to get in touch wth Matt Smith? Blessings...

Cliff, thought you'd like that phrase! (since it was yours) And a small point to consider, cheaper accomodations are available elsewhere on the island but you have to drive there and you realllly don't want to do that after you've had a few. Mostly everything is in a 3 square block area downtown.

Mike probably has guitars that could be rented, strings to be bought cigars to be smoked, it is a cigar/guitar store after all. The bridges aren't high enough for bungee jumping. If you want to ship your guitar ahead of time you could probably ship it to the store. Check with Mike though, I haven't asked him about that.
