Location: Ohio | Greetings from a new member.
I just found this forum after searching for information on the web about my Kanan Applause Model AA14-7 guitar.
I've owned the guitar since 1975, and it's the only one I own... at least for now.
I am wanting to upgrade to a newer model, but I can't afford a really expensive Ovation.
I've been looking at the AE148 model. Any thoughts... suggestions? |

Location: Ohio | Thanks very much. I guess I'll just need to go to a guitar shop and try some out. I play bluegrass gospel music in church almost exclusively and pretty much just strum the chords, so I don't need anything fancy. I love the bright sound my Applause has. I've played some really nice Martin wooden acoustic guitars (D1, D15), and I have trouble hearing myself playing on them for some reason. Probably all that 70s rock I listened to at an elevated decibel level as a teenager :) |
