Taped a show called "The Tour" about Elvis's 1972 (last) tour.

On one jam session with the singers between shows there was a shot of someone, maybe James Burton, playing a beautiful acoustic Ovation.

So even Elvis was touched by an Ovation!!!

Cheers

1972- I'm relieved it was being played .... instead of Elvis eating Chitlins out of it.

In an attempt to bring this back around to topic, the Ovation you spotted in the Elvis on Tour movie is a Glen Campbell Artist Balladeer. Not sure if it was James Burton or the rhythm guitarist that was playing it. Bailey, since you taped the show, go back and listen to the song "Seperate Ways". In it, you can hear the unmistakable sound of the GC Artist on the little guitar fills.
