I've noticed in the 1969 Ovation catalog that green was available on the Thunderhead, Hurricane, Tornado and Typhoon. I've seen (and owned) quite a few Storms but have yet to encounter a green finish. The picture of the Thunderhead in the catalog looks kind of washy, like the art department did a green tint on a b&w photo of the guitar. Did they actually make them? If so, does anyone have a good color picture of one? Quite a few Japanese manufacturers were offering green colored guitars in the late '60s/early /70s, so why not Ovation?
