Location: Denver, CO		I've just bought, waiting for delivery, a 1985 Model 1517. I did it for a beater but it's a very nice sunburst. I've seen mention here that they were made in Korea or somewhere but the label in this one has it made in CT.

Were there different 1517's?

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest		I believe Ultra's are actually "Assembled" in the USA. The neck and maybe top might be made in Korea, but then assembled in Hartford. Someone else may have better details.
