I'm a new member of the Ovation family, recently purchased 2x Magnum II. (The guitar dealer had one with a split in the headstock and threw it in for free)

Ilove everything about this bass, from the whole bridge design to the really weird EQ that I haven't quite figured out yet! But I have one major problem, It's clipping any amp I put it into as there's too much juice coming from the guitar itself! I played a gig last week, where the soundman refused to put the bass through the monitors in case the power damaged them! So my question is, is there any way to reduce the juice coming from the bass?
Also, I need 2x hard cases for them, any suggestions of a good place to look?

The posts on the bridge pickup are volume adjustable. Not sure, but they might be cranked up.
