Location: Gardnerville, NV | I recently purchased an 1869-1 CL from eBay. It came from Japan and the attached disc was on the back of the guitar. I've been playing with Ovations since 1977, and have never seen this one. Any ideas?

Location: When?? | Perhaps a label from a particular music store chain or something of that nature?? Could be completely wrong.. but.. the verbiage just doesn't seem (at least to me) to read like something a prominent manufacture would place on their product, and the word "the" tends to even more present like some type of aftermarket inspection program.. while using an official Ovation logo to further enhance their own propitiatory approval process. Anyone's guess at this point, but whatever it is I bid you congratulations on a very nice acquisition!

Location: Pewaukee, WI | My Adamas W597 that I bought from Alpep has a disc; I think it's a factory 2nd (finish related) that was meant for Japan |

Got a 1687-8 30th RI from Ishibashi Music last year that has the same disc at it`s back.
