Location: Orlando, FL | I'm looking to purchase my first US made Ovation and I was hoping for some opinions. It is a 2004 1777LX. I haven't had an opportunity to play it as it is quite a ways away from where I live.
I would appreciate any feedback on this guitars nuances, strengths/weaknesses, generally any extra information is great. Oh, and it is going for $949, is this a good price? |

| Welcome. The Legend series is among the top-of-the-line in materials, build quality, tone and playability among Ovations. All guitars vary slightly from one to another, but Ovations are usually much more consistent. You probably wouldn't go wrong. While not a steal, that's a fair price for what you'd get.
BTW, you know the Ovation Roundback Revolution Road Show will be at Sam Ash in Winter Park this evening (Friday 10/8 from 5-7PM)? That would be a good chance to check out some high end and several unique Ovations and Adamas. |

Location: Orlando, FL | Thanks for the feedback! I saw the post about Roundback Revolution @ Sam Ash and I'm going to try and attend.
I'll make sure to post about the 1777 should I decide to go for it, who knows, I may just find another at the event tonight! |
