Hi,
I don't know if it is normal that some time after disconnecting the jack cable from the guitar (1987 Ovation Legend 1717), the green LED (BATTERY) stops illuminating when pressing the corresponding button. Only after connecting the guitar cable again does this LED light up. Until now I was convinced that the battery testing is independent of the OP-24 power supply and can be done even without the cable. I don't remember how it was before. I am curious if this is a normal symptom or some kind of damage.
I'd be grateful for any information...

OK, it was bad solder joint in the preamp electronics. I fixed it and now it's ok.
