This is my Guild F30 GSR

We all know of the amazing Ovation and Adamas guitars built by our friends in the New Hartford factory.

But what about Guild? I think when Fender decided to downsize the roundback production to make room and retool New Hartford for the building of Guild guitars many of us were caught off guard, pissed off and never much paid attention to these wooden boxes. But I for one was curious just how good of a wooden guitar could these same skilled and experienced luthiers could produce.

The result in my opinion was simply amazing. I ended up buying 8 different models of Guild guitars, everyone of them New Hartford built and every one just as stunning as the rest. Here's my collection:

I may regret it, but I would like to move this F30 GSR to somebody who may play it more than I. "GSR" stands for Guild Special Run, which they reserve for very limited editions of special models or configurations. A total of 20 of this model were built, so this thing is very rare and collectable. What exactly is it ...

o Model F30 GSR (Guild Special Run)
o Built in New Hartford CT (Ovation Factory) in 2010
o OM (Orchestra) sized body with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides
o AAA Bearclaw Sitka spruce top
o Ivoroid bound body, fretboard and headstock (yes, the entire guitar)
o Block MOP inlays wirh "G" logo at 12th fret
o Mahogany neck with dual action truss rod
o Ebony bridge and fretboard, joins body at 14th fret
o Bone saddle and nut (1-3/4 inch nut width)
o Parisian eye abalone dot bridge pins
o Gold hardware
o Deluxe TKL case which has never left my house
o Acoustic only

I did two minor upgrades to this guitar.

1. I swapped out the black plastic truss rod cover for a solid Koa cover
2. I swapped out the cheap Gotoh tuners with plastic buttons for some very nice gold Grover open gears

Everything is in 100% As-New condition. Literally not a MARK on this guitar (or case). You are buying an essentially new, very limited edition guitar that is visually and sonically stunning. There is no way anyone would be disappointed with this fine instrument.

$2850. including case and free shipping (USA Sales Only). PM me if you are interested.
