Has anyone here had success on eliminating piezo quack when playing hard through the house sound system?(aside from unplugging??) ‘Any suggestions as far as preamp adjustments, pedal adjustments or other tricks?

As far as the quack goes I think I will duck this issue. I did once have a guitar with a quack in the soundboard but fortunately I was able to repair it.

Compressor plus good eq. A sound man who is good really really helps.

I have not used it yet through a house sound system, but I have been very impressed with a Zoom AC 2 acoustic processor played through my amp at home. The OpPro Studio has a similar function which I found sounded great through house systems. The VIP in a different way, more like the Zoom than the Studio, also sounds good through a house system.

I always like the compressor though. I think it really helps the guitar sound "professional" and polished.

You might try the Phil Jones PE-5 preamp/EQ. It has a switch for magnetic or piezoelectric.
I have one and for me it works well. YMMV.

Thanks for the info. I've been looking around online for options and have an interest in the new LR Baggs Align Series lineup. The "Sessions" pedal has nice balanced compression eq and saturate function that are designed for acoustic guitar frequencies. Eventually, I plan to get that, along with their chorus, reverb, and compression pedals. I think that may also help me with my goal of duplicating the sound coming out of the holes through shaping the output. 'Fingers crossed.
