I have a 1973 Breadwinner whose neck in MIA. I have a Viper project guitar with a neck that would appear to be a great donor for this. I have noticed that the Viper seems to be a little longer than the Breadwinner. Will this neck work on the Breadwinner body? Has this been done before?

Yes but you will have to adjust the saddles for correct intonation.
