Is anyone familiar with this guitar or have more info on it? Didn't know that Ovation was so close to bringing these back so recently!

When DW Drum first bought Ovation, the plan was to bring back a number of guitars from the 70's. As you know, it didn't exactly work out as planned......

were there other prototypes like this made? Wonder if they intended on bringing others like the UK-2 or deacon and if there are prototypes floating around

Not necessarily where since I saw that picture, but was curious if anyone knew more about these and how they came to be, as well as how close they might have actually got to production. Sparked my interest
