what kind of wood is this guitar made out of. it is a stunner. cant believe anyone can bend the strings so much on an acoustic unless it is tuned way down. either way it is a beauty. any idea what brand it is. GWB

Hey guitarwannabe, that's an Ibanez EW50 CBE NT. It's a laminated top with Cocobolo veneer. I repaired a quilted ash top EW for a friend some years back. The build was not particularly impressive, but the SRTc preamps are killer! Inexpensive, but easy player, especially with extra light gauge strings. Hope this helps!
