Hi,

Could someone please tell me what the difference is between an Ovation nylon string 1116 and the 1116-4 ?

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire		Just a guess, but...........the 1116 is the "burst" top, & the 1116-4 is the "natural" top. Neither have a preamp.

Location: Indiana		Top finish.
-2 = red
-3 = green
-4 = natural
-5 = black
-6 = white
-7 = nutmeg
-8 = blue
-9 = brown
