I thought I would get a more precise date of manufacture for my 1763, that has a serial number like 408XXX, so I went to the Ovation Tribute date page. Curiously, it could fit in both 1990 and 1991, it actually looks like some of the serial numbers are out of sequence. Here is what is on the site for 1989-1992:

382107-392900 1989
403760-420400 1990
421000-430680 1990
400001-430676 1991
430681-446000 1991
402700-406000 1992
446001-457810 1992

It sort of looks like serials for early 1990 and early 1991 were swapped, and the values for early 1992 look out of sequence as well. Is this something the factory did for real, or did the data just get entered wrong? While not of critical importance, it does look a bit off.
