How many of you have one of the Legend or Custom Legends with the flag motif on it?

One of those Custom Legends has been hanging in a german shop for an eternity and I could have had it for a great price - didn't pull the trigger since I already had too much guitars. Should have bought it, one of the greatest Specials ever.

Best regards,
Kurt

I don't think there are any guitars left on my wish-list other than the Flag, and for the right price maybe a 47RI.

That wasn't me! I've never had one.

Stephen, you might be thinking of me. It's proudly hanging on my wall, not getting played as much as it should.

Sold my 47RI long ago, but the flag would still be with me. If...

One of the few models I was really hankering for and never could land. Came close one year but missed it by a few hundred. Should’ve paid the price. What better guitar to play at a 4th of July picnic gig?

HA!.... I wasn’t able to get back and read the responses until now!... The reason I have always wanted one, is for playing on all the patriotic holidays at our church. We’re still playing in a controlled atmosphere on Sundays and practice on Wednesdays for our TV broadcast and podcast services. After going through cancer treatments and getting real sick, I lost enough weight and recovered, to a point where I am able to wear my Marine Corps dress blues on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I thought it would be cool to play that flag guitar at the sam time (:

I agree with you, Vince. Similarly, I used the flame guitar on the Ash Wednesday services.

Thank you for your service, and I'm glad you're feeling better.  I hope you find that guitar!

fun fact..... As you may or may not know Takamine was distributed by kaman music Corp.
Toby Kieth plays a Takamine made in japan with the American Flag painted on it most likely the same as the one on the Ovation

Does anyone know if this motif is available anywhere else? Maybe a guy could take a CL with a finish crack on it and have this put over it.???

Maybe it’s time for Ovation to make some more of these? I know they did
Them before as LX models.
