Location: SoCal | Where would I go to get an external battery box for an older Ovation with the battery located inside? My hands are big and I have pulled up the old style rosette a couple of times going inside to change the battery.
Of course, then I need to find somebody willing to install it...... |

Pick up some adhesive backed velcro and instead of attaching with the single quarter turn fastener use the velcro to get it to stick. Leave a generous tab that can be grabbed using a hemostat (roach clip to everyone else).
And the next time you are on surveillance look for suspects with small hands and they might be encouraged to help you out. |

Location: SoCal | I should have been more clear. I want a battery box with a door on the side of the guitar so I don't have to go in thru the soundhole to change the battery. |
