Joined: June 2015 Posts: 46 | Afternoon all ! I needed some Truss rod covers for my 70,s and 80,s Ovations and could not find any correct ones. I found a place that made me 20 exact replics (much cheaper that way) and am willing to share what I have left. The are a tad under 3 3/4" tall x 1 1/16" wide. They match exactly to the original I sent them (please see photo). They are $6.50 each with FREE snail mail shipping. Please let me know if you need one or two. I will NOT sell all of the extras to one person. Just trying to help out the group. Ed The Cold Solder Joint

I remeasured using a micrometer instead of my old wood ruler and these are 2.7" tall (just under 2 3/4) by 1 1/16. The top hole spacing is 2 1/8 from the bottom holes. If that works, plkease let me know. I will do a photo later with the numbers to make it clearer. Ed

If you are willing to send another one to Germany, I'd be happy if you'd send me the amount of costs for shipping (uninsured letter should be the easiest and cheapest way, I guess) and the cover via PM and your paypal adress and I'd send you the money via Paypal friends and family. Thanks in advance, Kurt

But it's much cheaper as well to ship something from here to the USA than vice versa. Thanks in advance - and if it's too much of a hassle for you, I'll pass. Best regards, Kurt
