A viewer of this forum contacted me about my 2007 legend reissue wanted to see a picture. He’s been looking for one for a year now without luck. He has a balladeer reissue of his own. After talking to him I also wondered where they all were all I see for sale is the vintage legends. So I was wondering if anyone here has one or even has seen any in their travels.
Just curious

Is he asking about the 1651 Legend Limited Re-Issue?

He was asking about my 1717. He said mine was the only he has seen in the wild.

Yeah, you can find a 2005 Ovation brochure entitled 'Traditional Series' where from 2005-2007. Ovation reissued their traditional designs of the 1711, 1717, and 1719. These things are almost impossible to find. John's mentioned 2007 1717, I have a 2007 1711 and a couple years ago there was another 1717 for sale in Canada. Seeing that these are the last of the main design that carried Ovation for so long, they seem terribly underappreciated and quite rare.

Paul, the 1719-30CM and now the 2006 GC? Is this going towards your project guitar also?
