Would this exact same guitar sell more if it said Ovation on the headstock, or Larrivee ???

An all wood guitar with unusual sound hole(s) placement. It seems to be a Tacoma wannabee.

Thanks for the demo and great playing. Though I must say I am not impressed by the sound for a guitar of that price. What I would love to hear/see is a comparison with a New Hartford (Elite or Adamas) and a Larrivee in the same price category. I assume that this is an experiment whether an ongoing relationship between Larrivee and DW Drums should be established with goal of ongoing production of "California Ovations". A potential buyer who wants to spend that amount of money on a new guitar, and is interested in these brands, needs to have a good reason to make the choice between the options.

Thank you for the nice demo, Al. The sound came through great on my desktop set. In a blindfold test I surely would have never guessed Ovation. Obviously a whole new tone for the brand.. but none the less sounds very nice. Crisp. If I had one I would most likely have fun trying a lot of different string types before settling on a favorite for it.

I think they decided on maple to make it appear more ovationesque
honestly the guitar sounds good and plays well
it is not a traditional ovation
