Are these still under the DW Drum umbrella or did someone buy the brand?

Did they hire the guys back who made them? I thought they all got laid off and the whole Adamas brand was dropped.

Yes it was....and once again we are on the dwrollercoaster.....
as a dealer I cannot express how difficult it is for me to keep reporting contradictory information.
But I do not own the company I can only tell you what is going on from the information they give me.
Sometimes two different people give contradictory information and they work for DW... but that is not the case any more.
I feel that they are actually making a real attempt at being a custom shop and not cranking out guitars that they think the public may want because a no nothing product manager thinks he has the pulse on the customer base.....
ok I said it....
they really dropped the ball with the first product manager.
if they focus they could become a viable custom shop.
time will tell.
they are obviously pricing guitars like a custom shop

The Adamas I design is certainly a proven winner and it's probably a good idea to focus on that. My RI is a favourite for all occasions. Let's hope that awareness of this as a boutique brand grows as they keep building.

Are they also servicing older Adamai?

Does this mean that my Adamas guitars will be worth more?

Arthur - sure - as long as you keep their visibility up in the busker world.
