What should I do, try to find someone locally who can fill and patch it (I'm worried most local luthiers wouldnt be as familiar with the lyrachord) but what do I know, or should I send it in to the factory if that's still even a option anymore? I feel like they would want to replace the whole bowl and I have no idea how reasonable the pricing would be. It's such a small crack and you cant see it from the inside because of the plastic bracing going around the top. By the way I have no idea how this happened, left it at a family member years ago ( it hasn't got any worse in the last 5 years) while I was away from home and when I got it back it had this. I'm assuming one of them dropped the guitar but it is what it is... Hopefully the links work..

Are you the original and registered owner with all the documentation? If there are no signs of a major impact then this should be a warranty repair. Without the factory and known contacts I have no idea what the process is, so it would be great learn what the "experience" is like nowadays ...

Looking at the photo of the outside my guess is that the guitar was dropped and impacted on the strap button and the crack is a flex area. I would mix about an ounce of epoxy and brush it into the area from inside.

From what I can see the crack is not viewable from the inside unless it's at the very edge of that plastic brace going around the top, if the crack is above the bottom of the plastic brace it makes it so I cant see it or access it from the inside. I have seen people fix big cracks or holes in the bowl before and make it look as if it never happened. I guess my problem is finding a luthier who can do that, or I'll end up finding a method and practicing it attempting it..

I would wick in some thin CA into the crack from the outside. That should be enough to stabilize the crack to keep it from getting any larger.

Do not use hardware store CA. (super glue) Instead, go to your local hobby store and buy some ZAP, or Hot Stuff or Bob Smith CA.

The hobby glues seem to work a little better.
