Location: Waterloo, IL | I have been looking at getting a small acoustic amp for home. With my hearing loss/hearing aids, my O just sends too much of the sound away from me. I had seen several Crates for $100 at the local GC. While I was home this weekend, I went back over to buy either the $100 version, or maybe upgrade to the $150 version. They only had one of the 10 watt, $100 amps left, and it did not have a box. However, it did have a broken strap/handle. I asked the saleman what kind of price could he give me for this amp. Final price: $66.08 plus tax. That saved me enough to pick up a Hercules guitar stand for my Pacemaker. It never hurts to ask. The worst they can so is "No." :D |
