Attending NAMM always has a couple " huhs" to it. This year's irony is I see an all wood guitar from Ovation, and a composite guitar from MacPherson. Go figure.

I said...
The Fender Thunderbird is (IMO) one of the ugliest guitars ever!

DOH!
I meant Gibson.

I too am guilty of thinking one thing and typing another.

While I wonder who will be around to take note.. In 50 years, this year's "wood" Ovation may hold the place alongside many other Ovation models that "a few were made, but they never went into full production".

And the ones that remain will be acoustic only because there is no access to the inside. As Bill said..."When the electronics are long gone and we are listening to it telepathically, the guitar will still sound good"  just like the shiny bowls are today!
