Today I got a "rare" Celebrity. I got a little Trekker.
It came in the Mail this morning, so I promptly took it out onto the street.
Rain and nasty weather are coming, but today it was 53° and Sunny. So I had to get outside.
You don't see these guitars very often, but there were Two of them on eBay recently.
So I snagged one. Hey, they will never make these again.
It looks like a normal Celebrity "Elite"...
Here is a size comparison with a Red Flame GCXT...
Here is a size comparison with a CA Cargo guitar...
Made in Korea...
And the previous owner had stuck spongy things to prevent the infamous Ovation "slide"...

That guitar looks nice. Like a small deep bowl.. does it have an extra small Ovation case also?
"You don't see these guitars very often, but there were Two of them on eBay recently." It is always the same, if you find a new interesting guitar, you will find a second five minutes later.

Hey Jay... Here is a really crappy video of this that I just made. The Cargo is out of tune. Well, it was in tune when it was outside in 50° weather, but not in my 72° room. I need to buy a better webcam.

If there was such a thing on Google Earth that showed a glowing spot upon the most eclectic stash of Ovation-lore, it would be throbbing on Portland. You got the knack, Arthur. Nice fetch once again.

Oh... I keep saying that this guitar has a twenty-one or twenty-two inch Scale length.
That is Not True. It has a 23.5 inch scale length.
I was confused by my Cargo... which has a 22.75 inch scale length.
I just wanted to clarify that.
