| Hi- new poster here.
I'm interested in restoring my 1619.
I've had this for a few years after buying it from a friend, who got it from his uncle
who was a country western player.
I noticed the intonation was off and discovered what looks like a fractured saddle.

This, I take, is integral to the pickup.
The pickup is stereo and may not work, I'm not sure.
I definitely need guidance on where to go with this.
Thanks!

You need a new Saddle.
You can get just the Saddle (the white part) or you can get the whole Saddle/Pickup assembly.
I would do that Latter.
Call the MotherShip (Ovation Repair Shop) during normal Connecticut, East Coast, business hours.

When you get to the menu of names, contact John Budny.
John is the The Man.
He can get you what you need.

| Hi and thank you very much!
It's a nice fancy sunburst model with all the inlays.
I'll post pics when I get it all back together. |
