first post in the forum. I've been reading this forum for a while and thought it was the right time to post.

I have a Ovation Pacemaker 1111 USA from (I think) 1979/1980 which is truly a treasure.

In the meantime I got an opportunity to get a Collectors Edition '93 USA with OHSC for a nice price (around $400).

The price, from what I can see online, is really nice but the fact (and the seller was totally honest) is that the top was repaired.

He told me it was done buy a guitar builder around 10 years ago and that the guitar stays solid without issues. Do you think that, even with this repair, would be a great deal?
