Location: Canada | It is nice to see a new generation of NH built LX guitars being offered on the Ovation website. Though there are not too many detailed specs offered. One of the favourite features of my LX is the light weight bolted neck, that is easily identifiable by the LX on the TRC. Now with the new models the pictures are not detailed but it looks like they have a TRC but certaily no LX label on it, and the Specs say absolutely nothing about this key feature. Does anyone know more about some of the deatialed specs of the new LXs, partiularly the neck construction? |

Location: Jet City | There is an LX on the truss rod cover. It's just black, no gold or silver lettering. That and the logo are pretty much the only things different.

Location: Canada | That is good to hear. Though I noted on the specs that they are supposed to have a nitro finish. I think that this is fairly new feature for guilds in the last 30 years or so. Has anyone seen/played a new nitro finished Ovation? |

I am sure that their are artsy-craftsy OFCers would could fix that with gold paint,
or Sharpie.
