I wonder if the Ovation factory would be up for doing a Bluegrass style guitar with an Adirondack spruce top, forward Scallop X braced. This type of guitar would be a sonic monster. I have emailed their customer service on this but no response..............figures......

Yes............tried calling...........got recording........no response.......that Adirondack cutaway is not what a bluegrass guitarist would want..........and the price for about $3200...........ridiculous.......only 50 made...other guitar makers are making incredible bluegrass style guitars for the 700 to 800 dollar range................with Adirondack spruce tops.

I never said that the guitars for 700 to 800 were USA made.............the ones I was referring to were Eastman model (E10D and 20) and Recording King( RD-316)

Ovations aren't bluegrass guitars. You'll only find ridicule and nastiness from your bluegrass buddies if you try to bring a round back into the circle.
