Hi everyone,

My name is Frank Parker.

Back in the early 90's I had a chance to get an Ovation 12 String preacher deluxe. I loved that guitar, but unfortunately we had a break in when I was living in Chicopee , MA and the scoundrel stole the guitar , plus assorted amps and electronics.

I have always dreamed of having another one and recently I was able to actually find one that plays great and I could afford. It is missing a few things, I have the old electronics, but apparently they are shot, but the system that is in there now sounds good. I am missing the plastic cover plate for the bridge and the pick guard has a crack and I would eventually like to replace it.

I was wondering if anyone in this group might have some ideas on location parts?

Thanks in advance
Frank 'FilkFerret' Parker

Welcome,
You'll be a full fledged member by time you read this, so when you respond I'll move this topic over to the General section where more can respond. While I don't have a bridge cover, there are some others who might. There was something weird about the combination of that plastic cover and 12-String bridges... Not sure if design flaw, but most 12-string versions of that bridge, the cover popped and it was just easier to remove it to get it out of the way.

As for the pick guard... I may have one, but I'd need to see a straight on picture of yours as is... There were some slight variations and with a picture I could see if any that I have are the right version. However, if not... you can have one made using your original by WDMusic. http://www.wdmusic.com/pickguards.html
