| Hello everyone. As stated above some finish checking/cracks and needs some love and strings. I don't see any place for a battery to power the pickup. Just volume and tone knobs. Am I missing something? My Glenn Campbell from 1978 has a battery but only volume knob. Thanks for your input. |

Some early Celebrity guitars do not need a battery.
It is a passive system.
I once owned a CC57 that did not need a battery.
Just Volume and Tone knobs. Plug it in and go.

| Thanks that is what I hoped to hear. Waiting to get some responses before stringing it up. I did plug it in and tap on the bridge. I heard the tap |

There are only about a dozen members who can respond on the Welcome Center.
And only about four who can upgrade your membership. (and I ain't one of them)
But if you hear a "thunk" went you tap the saddle, you've got a pickup.
