| Hi, I just joined and am looking forward to learning more and sharing information and stuff about ovation guitars. I have a Model 1111-1 serial number 108212, I use a L.R. Baggs M1A pickup and play in an Irish folk band playing mostly Pogues covers and traditional Irish songs. I also do some solo stuff.
I will use the forum to check the age of my guitar. I was interested in whether or not an upgrade for the saddle and nut to bone instead of plastic would improve the sound especially as I have been breaking a few strings lately and think It may need a little work/adjustment.
I live in the UK and it seems difficult to get parts here.
