An Ovation guitar plays a role in the Canadian miniseries "Cardinal" that aired earlier this year. Unfortunately they show mainly the case (more than 10 years old with silver lettering on the side), and I was not able to identify the actual model that is used. There are some suggestions that it may be quite valuable, though I suspect it's a Celebrity.

The series was shot at various locations in Northern Ontario during the winter, and I quite liked it. It is still streamed in Canada at

though I don't think this will work outside of Canada. Maybe we have a detective here who can identify the actual guitar that is used.
