Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | What a HECK of a year!!! ...The wife JUST finished up with a year of chemo and is FINALLY cancer free.
... A month ago, I was diagnosed with cancer in my neck (unknown primary metastatic melanoma, stage III). Had a radical left neck dissection taking 27 lymph nodes, and now I'm doing chemo for the next two years. It's obviously been a bit more than just a distraction, but I'm still playing my Ovations and staying happy and feeling blessed. I sure have missed feeling good enough to get online and check up on you all.
Hoping to chime in again, a bit more frequently.
'Sure missed you guys. |

Location: When?? | Vince.. I'm sending both a hearty congratulations, and a heartfelt wish of positive vibe to your household. One of these soon days the New England Journal of Medicine will be publishing an astonishing report about a man from Tennessee who has been cured of cancer by, of all things, playing Ovation guitars! Man, are they ever going to be jealous over at the Fender factory! You'll see. In the meantime, here's wishing you and yours the very best of everything!!

Location: California | Brian- stay strong and keep playing, I went through with a sarcoma tumor under my left axila. It was removed along with significant muscle tissue around it. PT helped but the most important thing was my desire to get back playing. So I received at that time from you a 1587-5 Adamas(formally owned by Standingovation). As you said, the guitar was a blessing for me because it is a great guitar and I play and enjoy very much,
Keep strong and play your guitars as the feeling will make you feel good. Have a quick treatment and recovery.
Hector.
