Hello, I just bought an OVation Deacon 12-string, but without case.
Now I'm searching for a case which fits the guitar.

Since I noticed, that the Deacon would fit into a Deep Bowl Case exept for the depth - would it fit into a Ovation Softcase 8317-0 for SuperShallowBowls?

Or does anybody know which other Case or (good) Gigbag would fit?

No. I doubt that it the body shape would fit in there, and a Deacon is a Flat electric guitar.
Deacon/Breadwinners have a specific size/shape case.
Someone here may have one for sale.
If you cannot find a case made specifically for a Deacon/Breadwinner I would look for a generic rectangular case that would fit it.
Because of the 12 string headstock you may have to go with a Bass case.

As to Gig Bags... I think that a BC Rich trapezoid gig-bag (or similar) would work.
You would just need the measurements before you go searching.

HERE is one for a Bass that might fit.
But this is just an example if you want to go that route.
Go to the bottom of the page and there are more.
Also, contact any seller with measurements.

Oh! Also, if you go for the BC Rich bag that come in two thicknesses...
Thin 5mm padding, and thick 20mm (or so) padding. I would go with the thick.

ok, the Ovation Softcase 8317-0, usually for Super Shallow Bowl acoustic guitars arrived - and the Deacon fits nearly perfect. Sure, there is some space beneath the guitar, but it sits on the rim, the headstock fits and the guitar isnt moving. Only when closed its not perfect, it rattles a little bit, but I put a towel on top of the guitar (useful for wiping the strings after playing) and now everything is perfect.
