I loved that movie. Lots of good Campbell, lots of good shiny bowl action. Namath was 'meh.. but Dom DeLouise played an excellent schmuck. I had met Campbell about a year before that movie came out, and my friend and I used to sing the theme song to it over and over when we were hitchhiking around town as teens.
Look out, ol' Norwood's a-comin' home.
He's been away on a four-year government loan.
(and so on and so on). Great memories.
