That could be... One way to check would be to look at the feet and see if there had been something else attached to the bottom. It may have been on rollers when I bought it. I might even still have them. Small world indeed! Edited by Todd G. 2017-02-06 3:40 PM

Used it that way for many years and it sounds great. Let me know if you might be interested. Edited by stephent28 2017-02-06 7:34 PM

I talked him out of it. We all seem to lean towards buying more amp than we really need, particularly for just playing in the living room. Having owned maybe 25 amps over the past 20 years, with 16 still in the stable, I have come to learn this the hard (and heavy) way. The Shen Jr is a terrific small acoustic amp, but will still irritate your neighbors if you crank it up. It won't bust your arm hauling it to a gig, and the built in effects are o.k. I bought this from Al 10 years ago and then added the cover for protection. Good to see it's still in the family. The only reason I sold it was because I upgraded to a Shen Pro which I still have, but in hindsight, I didn't really need to. Funny story about this amp. Al delivered it to me in Hartford at one of the OFC gatherings, and it was small enough to then pack up in a suitcase for the flight home.

I already have too many amps for me and need to get rid of some.
