"Bottom line is that these were great guitars and groundbreaking in their day. Unfortunately that day was 45 years ago."

So other than the cool boxes, what's actually new from New Hartford?

So, let's go fretless. No, frets. Fretless. Frets. Oh, WTF, I can't make up my mind.

Sweet, so there is sone continuity from the pre-DW days it seems. What's the GCF series? And please post a pic of the Koa Mandolin!

GCF=Gloss Carbon Fiber

And correction to the Koa. It's not a mandolin. It's a Koa topped oval holed Elite, similar to the LAV Koa

Damon,

That is a pretty agressive lineup! Are all of these guitars in regular production or will some or all be available by order.

I agree, very agressive. I have the same questions and am awaiting the response.

That looks intimidating. I would love to see a demo of this beast being played by a skilled bassman,

That's a serious list of New Hartford O's,did they have an of them on display??Pics Please.
So are they going to have US Custom Legend/Elites as well as Korean models???
New Kaki King and ME Adamas cool,what about the Korean models they were making this year...gone away or just relegated to a lower price point,
So much good news and lots of excitement US Ovations are making a comeback

Thanks for the NAMM updates and pics ProfessorBB and Damon. I never imagined, DW would take the aggressive strategy so early in the come back; but man, those 2017 cajons and NH made U.S.A. line Os are so impressive! The 50th AV line and NHs comeback was just announced in Japan last Nov/Dec. Just really good to see O coming back strong and where they belong! Not sure if congratulations are in order, but I sure feel like celebrating over here in Asia!

Good approach, Professor! When summer comes and my body goes tan I can apply the same rationale for purchase of some of the darker models.

That Bass is an Ibanez, eh? When I saw the fret markers I first thought it was an Ovation product...

Alumitones and Op Pro Studio, I presume. Is the bridge pickup the same that's in the Kaki King?
