I've still got a Hercules stand in the house, but I was wondering what other stands you guys are having success with.  I'd be using it for a deep bowl configuration.

Thanks.

Right now I have the GS414B which allows the bowl to rest against the foam on the front legs and it works good--it's in my youngest son's room and holding an Epiphone acoustic that was given to him.  I'll probably invest in another one for my new toy.

Stagg brand stands... $14 or so. $9 on sale.
I got three of them from Apple Music Row around 2007.
Work just fine for Ovations, Wood-boxes, Electrics, whatever...

I like the QuikLok racks. Even though the one below is a 7-guitar model, they are also available in 3- and 5-guitar models.

Hi Todd G.
I hope you don't mind me chiming in here. Definite agreement with all the stands mentioned in this thread so far. But for small intimate solo or 'with accompaniment' performances, I've found this stool/stand to work really well...

stool stand

I found this at a local pawn shop, but it's called the "StagePlayer" with a url on the label that says farleysessentials.com. It fits well with all bowl sizes, but I don't know if they make them anymore. Getting a lot of good use out of mine. Don't know if this is helpful, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to share. Thanks for letting me chime in! Happy "stand" hunting!

That's cool and practical at the same time.  Nice Celebrity there--my first Ovation was a black Celebrity Deluxe.  Great guitar.
