BioFuels won't be an alternative until a viable non-food source is found. Corn isn't all that efficient (right now, at least) as the ratio of energy expended to energy culled isn't all that great. Brazil's been doing it (for years) with sugar cane & getting a much better yield . . .
Bullsh!t'd be good source . . we seem t'have PLENTY of that around . . . . Corn-ethanol is a Scam. You make beer-mush, then distill it to Everclear... In the long-run you use more energy to make it than you get. (farming, transport, brewing, distilling, storage and mixing of finished product) Basic physics: Conservation of Energy. The same reason you cannot get a Perpetual Motion Machine to work. It is just politics of corn-belt politicians, making Frito's and Dog Chow cost more! Whatever happened to running a Diesel VW Rabbit on KFC grease?
PLUS YOU MORONS ARE BURNING OUR FOOD!
More to the real topic, I'm gonna miss the Magnum wagon. Nice car, just over-priced or they would have sold more. |

I just leased another "love it or hate it" type vehicle, a Ford Edge. The trans in my Explorer died and I had no intention of putting a new one in it. So far, I love it. It's fun to drive, quick, and fits all of my gear with relative ease. I'm not happy about having a car payment again, but you can't have everything. |
