It´s from 1980. It´s the same guitar (-91) as my 1687-5 or it was supposed to be. But the red is lighter and sounds different, very crisp heights, a little more "open" than the black sister, not so loud, but somewhat finer, more delicate. Hard to explain.

The string holder was made of brown wood(?). See the perfect string angle.

You can estimate the age of the guitar only from the old label, the rest feels and looks almost new.

The black thing is a John Pearse armrest. I use armrests on all of my guitars, it prevents the forearm from damping the guitar top when you play. It´s useful when you play the guitar mainly acoustically. The guitar really sounds louder. Many high-end guitars have built-in armrests today, but especially classic guitars.
