Thanks for the add, i'm glad to join this site, Just traded a guitar for an Ovation Celebrity Elite CS-257 serial 575117 made in 2003 i believe, all of the guitars i've seen on the web are made in Korea but mine is made in the USA as mention in the inside Label, i don't know why, does anyone have an explanation? TKS in advance https://www.pinterest.com/pin/490048003187502918/

That is why they are "Celebrity" guitars. (if it was made in the USA it would be an Ovation) But CS257's are still nice guitars. I have owned a few.

That is why they are Celebrity guitars. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ovation_Guitar_Company#Entry-level_gui... Anyway, a Moderator will be along eventually (Football is on TV) to upgrade your status. Only a few people can respond in this section. Maybe someone else can help you in your quest. That looks like a label attached to something else, attached to the bowl.

See how there is no "edge" to the oval sticker as it fades into what appears to be the actual bowl texture of a USA bowl. As others have stated, regardless, it's still a nice guitar.
