Joined: August 2002 Posts: 598 Location: Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA | Hi, Everyone, I first heard, "Suzanne", from one of my counselors, (who lived in Montreal), who sang/played it at a camp I was attending, when I had just become a teenager. It was one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar at the time. Then, later, I actually saw Leonard Cohen, "live, and in person", at The Mariposa Folk Festival, in Toronto, in 1970. Yes, Leonard Cohen was playing an Ovation, even way back then. Ovation was still considered a bit of a novelty, but was the only guitar guitar that cut through the mix, because it was windy/ raining all that weekend. Mike S. Ottawa, ON. CANADA.
