I took out #42 yesterday and played for awhile. Sad that so few people have ever (and will ever) experience just how good these really are. You just can't put into words how much better these are than any other Adamas known to man. The reissues were close and had all the ingredients. But in the end the fact is that you just can't replicate mojo. Mojo is rare. Mojo is expensive. Mojo is in the DNA, it's either there at birth or it isn't. I can't describe what Mojo is, but I know when it's missing and as good as Ovation/Adamas instruments are, there's not a damn one of them that has the Mojo of the original Slotheads. And I doubt we'll ever see it again.

There are a finite number available and most of those are tied up with famous Artists and will enter the "OMG" value category. These are historical and high quality so it comes down to the pain threshold of the seller and the Buyer. I'm pretty sure Damon hasn't had a full night's in a while...

So I do know what I am missing. Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then. (the little Alt-code music notes didn't come-out ) Edited by Old Man Arthur 2016-11-08 2:00 PM
