I officially protest against using that red Ovation Legend (or Custom Legend) in "Lost" serial.
Normally, i don't watch TV but today i've turned on, and there was Lost (3 series??) on TV, and i've seen that one of characters play on red Ovation. But he takes it with him to the jungle without case, and doesn't hide this guitar when it rains, and today that O was shot by an arrow!
i protest!

That seems to be a 1996 Anniversary TBC model. Expensive piece to put an arrow hole in.

We complain that Ovation has no marketing presence, artist endorements or product placements. Then when they do, we complain about THAT. Maybe we just like to complain ...

1) i think it's a red 1767 custom legend
I don't complain about "product placement'. I just feel very sorry for that guitar. They should take Ovation Q if they knew that this guitar will be in water , sand, etc.

btw.
don't take everything so seriously ;] it was quite nice feeling to sit next to TV and play on guitar and then see my Legend's younger brother on tV.

LBJ, we have to meet. I wasn't complaining about you complaining and lord knows I take nothing seriously. I just like to hear myself type. My only REAL complaint is that if they were gonna shoot it with an arrow they should have used a Taylor. Dave

PS: Shut up Jeff W.

Yes, but if you watch the episode you will clearly see the guitar heroically gave its life to save its owner. No Taylor would do that!

Of course, it was in vain as Charlie died anyway. We'll have to see if it shows up in season 4 by itself.

If the bowl stopped the arrow, the Mothership can still ressurect it.
I'd like to see a Traytor do that!

Here's some pics HERE
'96 collector has no dots on the neck, so I stand corrected. Legend or Custom Legend. I got too much time on my hands :-)

according to Lost wikia this guitar has laminate top, neck and fretboard, which is total bullshit for me,because it's clearly fretboard of Legend / Cusom Legend. And - HPL is still not water proof so...
