Hi, all,

I've tried to get some contact for years now with no success, now I know why! I sold him my 1681-7, from that money and a little more I bought the 1680 and told him what a wonderful guitar that is.... He bought one as well...
We had a lot of email contact and shared some sound clips. Suddenly he was away..... and today I found out where,
in heaven! He was a member here and I will have him in mind. I knew that he was ill, but not in that way.....

I am so very sorry for your loss.... This has been a bad year for losing the good ones, too soon...

That's bad news. I remember his name from the past here. We're in a strange new era where we have friends we've never met nor even spoken to or seen a picture of. RIP Herr Stupperich.

Deepest condolences bburg. May God's comfort be poured out upon the Stupperich family and OFC'ers mourning their loss. May He rest in Peace.

I myself never met him in person, but we had a lot of emails sent together. We tried to arrange a "European Ovation and Adamas Gathering"...... Suddenly he was away..... for ever!
He had Leukemia.
RIP Jürgen!!

Hi Berine:
Cancer is the most unfunny thing I've witnessed in my life. I lost both parents to cancer and it's such an awful thing. And when you lose a fellow music lover, it feels even more personal...at least to me it does.

But on a little bit brighter note, your post has allowed me to see the awesome collection you've got....wow!!! Next time I get to Germany (one of my favorite places to vacation), I'll be sure to try and look you up and see if I can check out your Ovation Museum.
