This was a custom built guitar for Chris Choate built to the exact specifications for the original texture top Adamas guitars. Has the OP-50, no nicks, scratches etc. etc. Asking $5,500.00 OBO 214.577.8732 cell or gdubick at live dot com

It's been quite a while and the picture-posting info does not lead me by the nose enough to get the job done! LOL! If you like, I will send them directly to you by email. The guitar is Blueburst, 12-string and built around January 2005. I forgot to include the serial number yesterday but will do so later today.

As many of you are aware, this is the TEXTURED top, not the SMT or the CVT that are the recent factory 6-string offerings (i.e., the ‘Bear’). It has the OP-50 pre-amp that has been the standards for the Adamas line. The OP-50 is interchangeable with the OP-Pro, Studio, VIP, and the iDea amp. From what I understand, the factory is not producing textured top Adamas, as well as not building 12-strings. This instrument is still in as new condition. Compare that this might be the last Adamas 1688 and George is asking not much more than the $5,000 retail of the DW/Ovation offerings. Whatever the final price determined between George and a buyer (collector or player), this guitar IMHO will only increase in value. Compliments to George for offering it first on the OFC.

The serial number stamped on the back of the head stock is very lightly impressed and appears to be 21083 U.S.A. Any additional pictures requested email me at gubick at live dot com and I will email back to you.
