I think this is the Koa topped 1 holer. A really nice guitar if it's the one I'm thinking of.

Let me laugh too, Nancy, FlySig, I don't get it.... I guess Al's price includes US VAT, the price over here includes geman VAT....so the rest should be just customs, transport, profit and/or a bonus for the "E"

Nancy's sense of humor might have been a little too subtle for me, too, but I think she was reading "VAT" with the German pronunciation, which would be close to our American "What?"
As far as I know we don't have a value added tax in the US, so Al's list price for the US wouldn't include that. I've been out of the guitar buying market for a while, but we just passed our 39th anniversary and it seems like my wife ought to buy this for our 40th. I'll let you all know if she agrees.

Mark in Boise, used Google a bit on taxes in the US, now I got it... There was also no Sales Tax on the Longneck I bought from a guitar shop in NY two years ago, what I only realized today when taking out the bill....

You are right, especially in the Cologne area where I live people say "watt" when they mean "what".

Good luck on your anniversary present!

I am sorry Red-Twins, I was being a Smart Alec. My Dad was raised by a German Family, and we talked with German accents allot around the house (I learned a bunch of swear words in German too growing up there), and sometimes, I just can't stop myself. No offense intended, just teasing FlySig.
