Hi, OMA,
This could be 1) a custom-made sycamore top Adrian Legg model, around that time, as he seemed to like those, or, 2) a 1991 Collectors Series maple top, SSB, to go along with the deep-bowl one, as 2 types were made, but I don't think there were very many of the SSB? Just guessing here.

Why did you start a new Thread? What was wrong with the other thread on this subject?
Eventually, a moderator will give you access to General Posting where more people can answer.

As I said before... I was curious about the CWKamanII signature because it could mean one of two things... Either it was approved by Bill or made For Bill.

When you look inside, does the inside have the same pattern as the outside?
If not, it is just laminate. Does it smell different? (I know nothing about wood)

It looks like it was modeled after the 1992 Collectors' Edition.
But if it was made in 1994, it may have been inspired by the '92.

Excuse me Mike S.
I was confused because I had been responding to Whammykid (John) about this 1868 and I thought that you were him. I didn't read the name. Sorry.

As to whether these were made for Adrian Legg, he sez that it is "1 of 6".
But he also sez that he bought if from the "original owner"...
Wouldn't that be Adrian Legg? If he ordered 6 or them, wouldn't he take six?
Or maybe they were custom ordered by a Shop or Dealer.
Much like when Al orders 8 or 12 custom guitars.
I'm confused.

Hi, OMA,
Please forgive me for the confusion. I should have put the thread in General Posting. About the guitar itself, yes, you are indeed right about it being inspired by the 1992 Collectors.
